Battlefields WW1 Tour

This four-day tour is based at the delightful Hostellerie Kemmelberg which is south of Ypres in Belgium. The option to gather at the gather at the Menin Gate for the Last Post Ceremony in Ypres. Private coach tour of the local battlefield’s guild by a local historian.  Then a run of other local historic locations plus free time to explore, with an optional Brugge Run.  

Because of the sheer amount of interesting sites, museums and areas of particular significance in WW1 in our locations we have specialist guides and transport organised to allow you to get the most from your visits to these areas. It would be almost impossible to get all of us into a convoy travelling from site to site and we felt that for once the cars should have a rest while we can get the most from our guides while we are travelling.

On the second day in each location we are letting you make your own decisions on what you would like to do as some people may have particular areas they wish to explore further or you may prefer to see more of the local area.

Bruges is just an hour’s drive from Hostellerie Kemmelberg and for those of you who haven’t been there this is an opportunity to visit this beautiful canalside town.
